Cris Clapp Logan

​Cris launched Cris Logan Art in 2017. Although Cris always dabbled in art as a youth, like many creatives, she pursued a more "traditional" D.C. path, working in communications and public policy. When she became a mom, she took a sabbatical from her career and began painting for her own home and kids. 

Friends began asking for commissioned work, and at the end of 2015, Cris began posting her daily doodles on Instagram. In late 2016, Cris began working with PR Group BrandGuild, doing brand-based illustrations of their clients including SweetGreen, Scout Bags, &Pizza, Drybar, the J.Crew Men's Shop and Soulcyle. She also began creating illustrations for brands including Christian Dior, Tod's, Kate Spade Bloomingdales, Max Mara, Birkenstock, Illesteva, City Center DC, The Washington Post and more.

Cris works with fashion houses, local businesses, stylists, bloggers, and other creative types to create unique, colorful and energetic illustrations and portraits for her clients' walls, websites and social media platforms.

​Cris has lived and worked in the D.C. metro area since 2001.  She is a huge fan of the Nats and the Capitals and she never tires of discovering new beauty in the city she calls home.
